IPSCO To Webcast Shareholder Meeting
Lisle, Illinois, May 2, 2006 - IPSCO Inc. (NYSE/TSX:IPS) will
provide a live webcast of its 2006 Annual Shareholder Meeting on
Thursday, May 4 at 11:00 am ET. The meeting will be hosted by
Board Chairman, Burton Joyce and include a presentation by IPSCO
President and Chief Executive Officer, David Sutherland.
Investors and interested persons may access the webcast through
IPSCO’s web site at www.ipsco.com. For those unable to
participate during the live webcast, the meeting will be made
available through the “Investors Information” section of the
Company’s web site.
IPSCO operates steel mills at three locations and pipe mills at
six locations in Canada and the United States. As a low cost North
American steel producer, IPSCO has a combined annual steel making
capacity of 3,500,000 tons and provides further processing at its
five cut-to-length lines located in both the U.S. and Canada. The
Company’s tubular facilities produce a wide range of tubular
products including line pipe, oil and gas well casing and tubing,
standard pipe and hollow structurals.
