IPSCO Increases U.S. Plate and Coil Prices 

Lisle, Illinois,  February 8, 2001 -- IPSCO Steel Inc. announced today that it has increased prices for steel plate and coil in plate sizes by $10 per ton, and for other coil (less than .188") by $20 per ton.

These increases apply to all new orders, effective immediately and will apply to product shipped from IPSCO's steel mills and coil processing facilities.
