IPSCO Announces Agreement With Corridor Pipeline Limited 

Regina, Saskatchewan, January 13, 2000 -- IPSCO Inc. (NYSE: IPS) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, IPSCO Saskatchewan Inc. has entered in to an agreement with Corridor Pipeline Limited to provide mill space on IPSCO's 24" ERW mill production facilities for the production of line pipe during 2000 and 2001.

It is currently Corridor's intention to purchase approximately 453 kilometers of 24" line pipe from IPSCO. IPSCO said that the period of production is estimated to be 24 weeks, spread over four delivery dates.
