IPSCO Tubulars Inc. Announces Major
Donation
Blytheville, Arkansas, January 11, 2000 -- IPSCO Tubulars Inc. today announced a donation of $10,000 U.S. to the Blytheville Emergency Squad. The money will be used to purchase much needed equipment for the squad to assist in emergency situations. IPSCO's donation towards this project assists the volunteer organization's ability to assist the Baptist Memorial hospital, Blytheville Police Department, and the Mississippi County Sheriff's office.
"We are pleased that this donation will allow the volunteer service to provide aid to the community," said Fathi Hamad, Blytheville Works Manager, IPSCO Tubulars Inc. "IPSCO believes very strongly in giving back to the communities in which it operates and is proud to help the Blytheville Emergency Squad."
IPSCO's Blytheville Works also made donations to the American Legion, The Arts Council of Mississippi County, The Ritz Civic Center, and the Blytheville-Gosnell Area Food Pantry and Clothing Ministry each in the amount of $2,000 US.
